Do you think this was taken on the same day of the other Children of the Cornbread photo? It looks as if these kids are wearing the same outfits as in the colorized photo. Pretty cool image.
I have an old colorized photo of a little boy (my father's step brother) who died at a very early age. If you look at the photo real close, you'll see a hand on his shoulder. No body attached...just a small hand on his shoulder. It's a beautiful old photo but gives you the creeps when your eyes make out the mysterious hand.
